This facility has some consulers that are invaluble and i wouldnt been clean today had I not had the good fortune be under their guidance. That being said the West campus,as nice as it is ,was a bitter sweet experience. We all had to sleep with our clothes on under double blankets because it was freezing. We were all sick and I personally got very very sick. I was sent home with a theraputic discharge without a certificate while some that were"kicked out" got a certificate. I got more coping skills than any certificate could give me though. One of the techs "Johnny" help me as much any consuler.I owe him greatly. The food was ok just repetitious meals. I was roomed with a murderer and he got violent and there was a lot of prison mentality there. Some of the guest speakers were there only to do a sales pitch for their outpatient program. I have friends in it and others that went elsewhere such as myself and honestly I don't recommend their program. I was disappointed not being allowed to go theirs but it turned out to be for the best. Take extra warm clothes if its cooler weather, find a different outpatient. Stick to yourself mostly and you can get a lot out of this place. Its rehab not a country club. If you want to get clean and stay clean these people can help you. Believe me Im an addict of 40 years and I made it out of there under stressful situation with a pocket full of money and still didn't relapse although that was my intentions. Thanks to the skills I got and my higher power I'm clean and an active member in Narcotics Anonymous. Thats my honest review, they have their downsides but I am clean today and for that Im grateful. O my consuler's email as were as the facilities are invalid which bothered me since I couldnt contact either after getting home. Update...well almost a year clean and I now realize I played my part in that situation which got an early discharge. Thanks Turning Point staff. I might not be alive and free from the compulsion and obsession of using drugs today without you guys,N.A. and my higher power...I'm truly grateful for this whole process I know now I needed all that to get me where Im at today. And I apologize to Ms.Chandra for acting out in ger class.

Great place! I could tell the staff really cares and wants to help us. I’ve been here a few times because of relapsing and they never shamed me or made me feel like I couldn’t get back up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get help.

I am a social worker at a hospital in Atlanta. I have sent multiple patients to Turning Point and always found them easy to deal with. Patients tell me they like it there, the food is good and when they need to go back, they don't mind being sent there. Not many honest people really WANT to be in the hospital so I guess that's about as good a recommendation as I've heard.
I wouldn't suggest this place to no one. The way they treated my son is ridiculous. His councilor was unconcerned. Never returns your call. He suffered being depressed more than when he first went there.
I went there 4 years ago and I been sober every since they gave me tools I need stay clean and it a good program
There aren't enough words to describe the excellence of the entire Turning Point organization. The entire staff from the physicians, nurses, and counselors, to the techs, office staff and food service workers are empathetic, dedicated professionals who I have immense respect and gratitude for. The programs offered are top notch. The accomodations are above and beyond any treatment center I have ever encountered. A sense of being "home" versus being in an institution or facility make all the difference in the world. Anyone seeking to change your life can achieve that goal at Turning Point. A better future awaits you, I know because it happened for me there.
I would like to Thank the staff for everything that you guys did for my love one . He had a life change experience while he was there ... He is now a change man
Over 13 years ago this is where I came to get back on track. After many years of addiction, this facility gave me the tools, the will ,and the power to come back to a normal life. They help my change my life.
In 1993 I graduated from Nursing school and my first job was with the Turning Point as a PT LPN. I was amazed then at the structure of a facility that Moultrie , Ga. was fortunate enough to have . I visited the other day for a Nursing A. Test and was "BLOWN AWAY" as they say !!!! I know so many of the faculty, but my hat is off to you Ben Marion and everyone for the growth of such a needed program. I was truly amazed at the fellowship and direction the program has taken and felt so good meeting the new people I have not known. Everyone was kind, on task, and while working at their position was free to give a smile to a new face walking in the hall. Everyone was so professional but the camaraderie was clearly felt as one wants to feel this whether they are there for help or to administer to others. I give the Turning Point a 100% mark for excellence !!!
